Soapnet Just Got Worse

Multichannel News is reporting that long-time Soapnet General Manager Deborah Blackwell is leaving the network. She will remain as a "consultant" until her contract expires next year. According to Brian Frons, her position will not be replaced, and he will take an even more hands-on, day-to-day approach to managing the network than he has previously.
P.S. From July-September of this year, ratings were down 33% compared to the same period last year.
